Hello Friends ,
This exhibition named "Simplicity" was a group exhibition with my colleagues Deepak Khurana, Deepak Babbar and Gaurav Singh. We displayed our work in Black and White at the Convention Foyer ,India Habitat Center ,Lodhi Road , New Delhi from 14th February through 18th February,2011.
The photographs I displayed , captured the purity of mind in various shades and tones of black and white representing range of thoughts .The serenity of white in the background of darkness is a symbol of awakening with new dawn .White is like light piercing through the ills ,to illuminate our minds and souls. So close to God realizing how dark and light affect our lives …….is simply a simplified way of our life projected in "simplicity" ……
Photographs chosen by me reflected the spitirual concepts in our surrowndings in the holy land of Leh and Ladakh , Sikkim during my recent trips to these places.

Below are the images that were displayed in the exhibition. The mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum “ and others inscribed are like the strings which connect our souls to God…..Tibetan prayer bells and Dorje are used in rituals to call the presence of the Buddha. In Tibetan Buddism the Dorje (called Vajra by the Hindus) is used by Tibetan Gods to make lightning and is often called the thunderbolt mandala. Simple yet in perfect unison and tune with humanity….
The prayer wheels are the wheels, the wheels of doctrine, and it symbolizes Buddhist teachings. The prayer wheel is all about harmony, loving kindness and peace. A perfect example of simplicity, yet powerful".
I had attempted to view the colors of life through the shades and tones of Black and White in my photographs exhibited here…….
